Known for her distinctive voice and fashion sense, Rihanna’s early work was Caribbean pop, but she’s since blended hip-hop, R&B, club, and rock. In 2014, she left Def Jam for Jay-Z’s Roc Nation, taking more creative control over her 2016 album ANTI.
