Kendrick Lamar Duckworth is an American rapper, songwriter, and record producer who’s known for his creativity and risk-taking. In 2018, he became the first non-classical or jazz musician to win a Pulitzer Prize for Music for his 2017 album Damn. Damn also won five Grammys, including Best Rap Album. Lamar has won 37 BET Hip Hop Awards, the most of any artist, and 11 MTV Video Music Awards.
